Effort² — Effort Counts Twice

About

Why
Effort²
Exists.

Effort² didn't start as a brand. It started as a frustration with programs that made you choose: lift or run, get strong or get conditioned, train for performance or train for how you look.

Athletic Background

Kendall's foundation in performance started as a four year collegiate basketball player at Schreiner University. Years of competitive sport shaped the way she views training: strength matters, conditioning matters, movement quality matters, and none of those qualities should exist in isolation. That athletic background continues to influence how Effort² programs are built today.

02

Coaching Experience

Kendall has coached across multiple settings, including one on one training, group fitness, athlete development, strength and conditioning, and fitness program leadership. Her experience spans competitive athletes, recreational lifters, endurance athletes, and everyday people who simply want to move, perform, and feel better. That range of coaching experience reinforced one core idea: good programming starts with the individual, not a template.

03

Strength & Conditioning

Kendall is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with additional education in sports nutrition, performance programming, pain free performance, and strength and conditioning. Her programming is built around foundational movement patterns, progressive training phases, and intentional methods designed to develop strength, power, speed, conditioning, and durability together. Effort² reflects that same approach: every part of the program should have a reason for being there.

04

Chasing More Than One Goal

Effort² was shaped by Kendall's own experience pursuing strength and endurance at the same time. She has trained for and completed marathons while continuing to prioritize strength, muscle, and athletic performance. That experience challenged the idea that people have to choose between being strong, conditioned, muscular, fast, or capable. Effort² was built for people who want more than one quality from their training and want those goals to work together instead of competing against one another.

The Belief

One Dimensional Programming Felt Limiting.

Most programs are built for one outcome. That's fine if you only want one thing. But most people don't. They want to be strong and be able to run. They want muscle and want to feel athletic. They want to still be doing this in twenty years.

Effort² was created to program for that reality: training organized around movement, qualities and goals, with a structure that fits into a real week.
